Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform vital signs and basic patient assessments
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
