Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct and supervise warehouse staff during weekend shifts to ensure all daily targets are met regarding order fulfillment and inventory processing.
- Inventory Management: Conduct daily cycle counts and spot checks to maintain high inventory accuracy standards (99.9%+).
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company safety policies to ensure a zero-incident workplace.
- Staff Coordination: Schedule weekend personnel, conduct briefings, and provide real-time feedback to improve team performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the weekend workflow and implement efficient solutions to maximize throughput.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper care and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of supervising teams or leading projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Standard Weekend Shift).
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Manhattan, or NetSuite.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
