Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Assist in the loading, unloading, and staging of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and verify inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items are properly labeled and organized.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines and company policies, to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as required and trained.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues to optimize workflow and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
