Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Execute packing, sorting, and shipping operations efficiently to meet daily volume targets during weekend shifts.
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload trucks using manual pallet jacks and forklifts as required.
- Inventory Control: Perform accurate inventory counts and organize stock to ensure proper placement and accessibility.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for defects, damages, or discrepancies.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Customer Service: Resolve minor logistical issues and assist with customer inquiries regarding orders.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and attendance is required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
