Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network infrastructure issues.
- Manage and resolve incoming help desk tickets with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and security updates during the weekend.
- Monitor server performance and alert the on-call team to any anomalies immediately.
- Document all technical interventions and resolutions in the Service Desk system.
- Collaborate with the Monday-Friday support team to ensure seamless handoffs of ongoing projects.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software for remote offices.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with remote access tools (VPN, Remote Desktop) and ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
