Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments from delivery trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of stock levels and manage incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision and speed.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet company standards before shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure workspace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right candidates.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
- Communication: Basic English reading and writing skills required for safety documentation and inventory logs.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
