Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely move products from delivery trucks to storage areas and vice versa using proper equipment.
- Inventory Management: Utilize handheld scanners and software to accurately track stock levels and update records in real-time.
- Operate Machinery: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts to streamline workflow.
- Packaging & Shipping: Ensure all items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit and prepare them for shipping.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with shift supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for urgent hires.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a consistent work history.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts (day/night) based on operational demand.
- Documentation: Valid ID and ability to pass a standard background check.
