As a Weekend Shift Supervisor, you'll lead a team of 5-8 associates in fast-paced logistics operations. Our Tucson facility operates 24/7, and weekend shifts are critical for maintaining supply chain integrity. Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor team members during weekend shifts, ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate with weekday supervisors for seamless handover and communication
- Resolve operational issues promptly using data-driven decision making
- Conduct quality control checks and maintain accurate documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for weekend workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse environments
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS experience preferred)
- OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday 6AM-6PM)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory software
- Strong leadership abilities with team development experience
