Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital measurements
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures
- Administer injections and medications per protocol
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Coordinate patient education materials
- Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and sanitized
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Strong phlebotomy and ECG skills
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and empathy
- Ability to work independently on weekends
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Flexibility for occasional holiday shifts
