Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign measurement and basic clinical procedures
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Manage patient documentation and electronic health records
- Coordinate weekend patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Respond to urgent patient inquiries and triage concerns
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA credentials
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Basic ECG and phlebotomy skills preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Valid CPR certification
