Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake assessments and vital measurements
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and wound care
- Administer injections and medications per protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Handle patient inquiries and insurance verification
- Collaborate with cross-functional care teams
Qualifications
- Active NC Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year urgent care experience required
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and ECG skills
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Meditech a plus)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
