Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Perform vital sign assessments and patient intake documentation
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely care delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience required
- Weekend availability mandatory (no exceptions)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS certification required (ACLS a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
