Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic clinical procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Manage patient flow and coordinate weekend appointment schedules
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday, 7am-7pm)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech experience)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environment
