Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize cloud deployments on AWS with cost-efficiency focus
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Drive DevOps best practices including monitoring (Datadog) and security protocols
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience with Java/Spring
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Strong knowledge of microservices patterns and RESTful APIs
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
