Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for high-security environments
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems for 24/7 infrastructure visibility
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning for critical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive DevOps best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles with federal government project experience
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and CI/CD automation
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one immediately
- Proven track record of implementing secure containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
