Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Automate deployment pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Ansible
- Lead security compliance initiatives (SOC2, HIPAA) and incident response
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
