Desert Regional Medical Center is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department. This urgent position requires immediate availability and offers career growth opportunities in a state-of-the-art facility serving El Paso's growing community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in fast-paced emergency department setting
- Administer medications and treatment protocols with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for critical patient cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ER/acute care experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
- BSN preferred (ADN with relevant experience considered)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Spanish language proficiency highly valued
