Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and documentation for weekend clinic operations
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient assessments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Handle patient inquiries and triage urgent medical concerns
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Coordinate with on-call physicians for weekend emergencies
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant or CMA certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environment
- Valid District of Columbia healthcare provider license
- Spanish bilingual skills strongly preferred
