Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care across diverse units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Document electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Implement patient education plans for discharge readiness
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with ACLS/BLS protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license required
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (must be current)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic EMR preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
