Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care nursing interventions for ICU patients
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, EKGs, and lab results
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations and code blue events
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN degree strongly preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
