Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs assessment and patient intake documentation
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate EHR records and inventory management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate referrals and lab specimen processing
- Serve as primary liaison between patients and clinical staff
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings
- CPR certification must be current
