Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals and preliminary assessments
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and exams
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Prepare and administer medications under physician supervision
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain workflow efficiency
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Arizona state license (if applicable)
- Background clearance and drug screening required
