Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize trauma patients in high-acuity emergency situations
- Administer critical medications and life-saving interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary trauma teams during resuscitations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with zero-time documentation
- Educate patients and families on emergency care protocols
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and CMS regulations
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years ED/trauma experience (preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Strong assessment skills for rapid patient evaluation
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environments
- Spanish bilingual skills (highly desirable)
