Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and update the inventory management system in real-time to ensure accuracy.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Process shipping manifests, bills of lading, and invoices with a high degree of precision using our proprietary software.
- Warehouse Operations: Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of freight and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding shipment status, delays, and special handling instructions.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe workplace for all employees.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or customer service is preferred but not required (we offer paid training).
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and ability to learn new logistics software quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot errors in data entry and documentation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
