Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely handle incoming and outgoing shipments using proper equipment and techniques.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, sort, and track inventory to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in compliance with safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all orders meet company quality standards before dispatch.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor, aisles, and storage areas organized and free of hazards.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with team leads and dispatchers to resolve logistical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
