Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests including EKGs, phlebotomy, and lab processing
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and injections under medical supervision
- Maintain accurate patient records using our EHR system
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Provide exceptional patient care during high-volume weekend shifts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Technician (CMT) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in urgent care or emergency setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple patients simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Flexibility to cover occasional holiday shifts as needed
