Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for medical assessments
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clinical workspace hygiene
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- BLS/CPR certification required (training provided if needed)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Must pass background check and drug screening
