Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize emergency patients in fast-paced trauma cases
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for critical care coordination
- Document patient records with precision and timeliness
- Mentor new staff and maintain departmental quality standards
- Respond to mass casualty incidents and disaster protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- 3+ years ER experience in Level 1 trauma center
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- BSN or higher preferred
- Strong critical thinking and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Experience with Epic EMR system
