Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Perform basic lab tests and specimen processing
- Deliver patient education on treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Texas state license or eligible for immediate licensure
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care/hospital setting
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Excellent Spanish/English bilingual communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Availability for consistent weekend shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
