Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and optimize daily warehouse activities, ensuring timely order fulfillment and shipment dispatch.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and schedule a diverse team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in logistics workflows and implement strategic solutions to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure seamless inbound and outbound operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Certification and OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and managing conflict effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
