Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely handle inbound and outbound shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Pick and pack orders: Accurately assemble customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Inventory management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse management system.
- Equipment maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Team collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other associates to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or GED equivalent required.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Forklift Certification: Class A or B certification is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
