Responsibilities
- Analyze shipping data and logistics metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with carriers and vendors to negotiate rates and optimize delivery routes.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate warehousing activities to ensure 100% stock accuracy.
- Utilize WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to track shipments and manage documentation.
- Prepare detailed reports and performance dashboards for senior management.
- Implement process improvements to enhance overall supply chain speed and reliability.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation planning.
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle) and WMS systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
