Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes from warehousing to final delivery.
- Lead a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff.
- Implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Analyze operational data to forecast demand and manage inventory levels accurately.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and local regulations.
- Negotiate with freight carriers and vendors to secure the best shipping rates.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in a port city.
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data.
- Proven track record of team leadership and conflict resolution.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a significant plus.
