Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in high-acuity emergency settings
- Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for critical patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs during emergency procedures
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue responses
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and triage skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
