Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Conduct incident response and forensic investigations for cyber threats
- Develop and implement security controls aligned with NIST and FISMA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Stay current on emerging threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with federal/government clearance preferred
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments
- Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
