Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care services to diverse patient populations in fast-paced environment
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute injuries and illnesses with efficiency
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practices
- Participate in weekend/holiday rotations as needed for 24/7 coverage
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana Nurse Practitioner license (APRN)
- Minimum 2 years urgent care or emergency medicine experience
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
- Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills under pressure
- Excellent communication abilities across diverse cultural backgrounds
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
