Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Lead the strategic planning process to identify emerging technologies, trends, and infrastructure requirements for the 2026 fiscal year and beyond.
- System Architecture: Design robust, scalable, and secure enterprise-wide architectures that support future growth and integration of AI/ML workloads.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, code quality, and technical excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-level executives and board members.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select third-party technology partners and tools that align with the long-term 2026 vision.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to the highest standards of data security and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in software engineering or enterprise architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic planning capacity.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), and legacy system modernization.
- Future-Proofing: Demonstrated ability to anticipate technological shifts and implement forward-looking solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical strategies to non-technical audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex, large-scale technical challenges.
