What You'll Do
As a Senior Technical Sales Engineer, you will own the technical narrative from the first discovery call to the final contract signature. You will leverage your deep understanding of cloud architecture to solve complex client problems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level technical presentations and live demos of Apex Dynamics' software suite to prospective enterprise clients.
- Design and architect Proof-of-Concept (PoC) solutions that align with customer business goals and technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify customer pain points and tailor technical value propositions.
- Translate complex technical data into clear, business-focused language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in cloud computing, security, and AI integration.
- Provide feedback to product management teams to drive roadmap enhancements based on customer insights.
- Train and mentor junior Sales Engineers and Customer Success Managers on technical best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in a Technical Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solutions Architect role within the B2B SaaS industry.
- Deep technical expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and system integration.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership and technical teams alike.
- A proven track record of closing complex deals and contributing to revenue growth.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings and industry conferences.
