Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026+ horizon, aligning with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) and assess market readiness/commercial viability
- Lead scenario planning workshops to anticipate disruptions and build adaptive roadmaps
- Partner with VPs of Product and Engineering to integrate future tech into development pipelines
- Represent company at global tech summits, publishing thought leadership on future innovations
- Build and manage a network of academic, startup, and industry innovation partners
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and Board of Directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and driving commercialization
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario modeling and risk assessment
- Exceptional communication with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience managing cross-functional innovation teams
