Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks for forecasting future scenarios across industries
- Design and deliver strategic foresight reports for Fortune 500 clients on AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing business models and innovation roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and thought leaders
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and investment opportunities
- Present findings to C-suite and board members with compelling data visualizations and narrative frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Assessment, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic consulting, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- Strong publication record in foresight journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from APF) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating future-oriented projects for global organizations
