Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct advanced performance tuning and security vulnerability assessments
- Drive architectural decisions for our high-transaction payment processing system
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with Java/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proven track record leading projects with $5M+ revenue impact
- Strong AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect preferred)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
