Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for cybersecurity breaches and intrusions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security protocols for federal systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports
- Maintain compliance with NIST and FISMA standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required
- Expertise in threat detection and incident response
- Strong knowledge of federal security frameworks
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux environments
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a SOC environment
- Active Secret clearance preferred
