Responsibilities
- Technical Audits & Remediation: Conduct deep-dive technical audits to identify crawl errors, indexation issues, and site architecture problems, followed by strategic remediation.
- Core Web Vitals: Optimize page experience metrics (LCP, CLS, INP) to improve site speed and mobile usability.
- Schema Markup: Implement and audit structured data (JSON-LD) to enhance rich snippets and SERP visibility.
- Site Architecture: Design and optimize site maps, internal linking structures, and URL hierarchies for better crawl distribution.
- Google Search Console: Monitor performance, identify manual penalties, and leverage data for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in technical SEO and organic growth strategies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to debug site issues; experience with Python or SQL is a plus.
- Tools: Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs/SEMrush.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate technical jargon into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
