Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, site speed issues, and on-page optimization opportunities.
- Develop and implement high-level SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve keyword rankings for key business segments.
- Manage and optimize Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tracking tools to measure performance and report on ROI.
- Collaborate with the content and development teams to ensure website architecture and content are optimized for both users and search engines.
- Stay updated on the latest Google algorithm updates and industry trends to ensure our strategies remain effective.
- Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Lead link-building campaigns and manage relationships with external partners.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on technical SEO and analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
- Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to perform code-level optimizations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Must be local to Kansas City, MO, or willing to relocate immediately.
