Responsibilities
- Technical SEO: Conduct comprehensive audits of website architecture, page speed, and crawlability to identify and fix technical issues impacting organic performance.
- Keyword Strategy: Perform in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to develop content strategies that target high-value search terms.
- Content Optimization: Partner with the content team to optimize headlines, meta tags, and body copy for maximum SEO impact and user engagement.
- Link Building: Execute white-hat link building campaigns to increase domain authority and improve backlink profiles.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using Google Analytics and Search Console; provide monthly performance reports and actionable insights.
- Algorithm Updates: Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates and industry trends to ensure our strategies remain compliant and effective.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on technical SEO and link building.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript; familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.
- Tools: Expert level use of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot SEO issues effectively.
