Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum circuits and error correction protocols for next-generation quantum processors.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of physicists, software engineers, and hardware specialists to optimize qubit coherence and stability.
- Develop and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex real-world optimization problems.
- Lead technical roadmaps for quantum software stack integration and deployment.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and rigorous scientific inquiry.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum systems to ensure reliability and performance benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantum computing, with proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil, or Q#).
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (e.g., QAOA, VQE, Grover's) and quantum error mitigation techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++ for high-performance simulation and hardware interfacing.
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Google Quantum AI, IBM Quantum Experience) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
