Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-safe network architectures supporting hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Develop cryogenic control systems for maintaining quantum coherence at millikelvin temperatures
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing environments
- Create automated deployment pipelines for quantum cloud services
- Lead integration of quantum hardware with classical supercomputing infrastructure
- Document quantum system performance metrics and failure analysis protocols
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum security best practices
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years experience in low-latency network infrastructure or cryogenic systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and Python
- Hands-on experience with superconducting qubit manipulation or ion trap systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction algorithms (surface code, LDPC codes)
- Certification in cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Published research in quantum computing or related field preferred
