Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize quantum algorithms using industry-standard frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, and Q#.
- Implement advanced error mitigation and error correction strategies to improve quantum circuit fidelity.
- Create hybrid quantum-classical architectures, bridging classical Python backends with quantum processing units (QPUs).
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum software on simulators and real hardware.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with quantum physicists to translate theoretical models into executable code.
- Document technical specifications and contribute to the open-source community where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on Python, C++, or Rust.
- Proven experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane) and quantum simulators.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles, including superposition, entanglement, and quantum gates.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and their application to quantum data.
