Job Description
The Future is Now. OmniFuture Technologies is pioneering the next generation of global connectivity. As we accelerate our 2026 Initiative, we are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Network Engineer to architect the infrastructure that will secure the digital world of tomorrow.
In this high-impact role, you won't just maintain networks; you will build the foundation for quantum-safe communication. You will work alongside world-class physicists and cryptographers to design, deploy, and optimize scalable quantum key distribution (QKD) networks. If you are passionate about solving the hardest problems in cybersecurity and telecommunications, we want to hear from you.
Why Join Us?
- Work on the bleeding edge of technology (Year 2026 Vision).
- Competitive compensation package with equity.
- Flexible work environment and top-tier benefits.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum-safe network architectures for metropolitan and wide-area deployments.
- Lead the integration of QKD hardware with existing optical fiber infrastructure.
- Develop and optimize protocols for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) transitions.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to troubleshoot quantum signal integrity and error correction.
- Conduct rigorous security audits and vulnerability assessments on network layers.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and bridge the gap between physics and software engineering.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in network engineering, telecommunications, or cybersecurity.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, specifically Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and quantum random number generators.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and network simulation tools (e.g., NS-3, OMNeT++).
- Experience with optical networking technologies, DWDM, and fiber optics.
- Strong knowledge of cryptographic standards and post-quantum cryptography transitions.
