Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Design and optimize fault-tolerant quantum circuits using superconducting qubits
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature Physics, Science Quantum)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum systems at 99.9% fidelity
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for post-quantum security frameworks
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead cross-functional quantum innovation workshops
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Demonstrated experience with quantum annealing or NISQ devices
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of securing federal research grants (NSF/NIH/DARPA)
